    Can the security shutters be installed on a patio, without glass. It is a sea facing property.

    Hello Desere

    Thanks for the great question. Shutters can be installed in a plain opening, one that has no glass windows or doors. Examples of this type of installation are shutters used internally as a room divider between 2 adjacent rooms or shutters used externally in a plain opening to enclose a patio. Bear in mind that although the shutters will protect you from the elements, they are not completely weather proof. Aluminium shutters used externally on the coast are ideal as they stand up well to the elements.
