With the increasing need to live in harmony with our environment and the rising costs of electricity, installing a product that would help insulate your home makes perfect sense. And with us, sensible is perfectly stylish too!

Treat your windows to cellular shade blinds and improve the insulation in your home.

Made up of two of more layers of material which are joined at the pleats, cellular shade blinds have honeycomb shaped compartments which trap air and thereby increase both heat and sound insulation. According to Planet Green, good quality cellular blinds have a heat retaining value, or R-value, of 3.

Our cellular shade blinds are also available in a number of finishes to suit the functionality of a room, your lifestyle and the style of your home décor… naturally!

Translucent cellular shades

If you love letting the light in but find yourself shutting the shades or pulling the drapes closed, you’ll love our translucent cellular shades. They allow soft diffused light into your home while closed, but keep curious unwelcome eyes out!

Cordless cellular shade blinds

Regular blinds’ cords are tempting for little hands and as every parent knows, accidents can happen in a matter of seconds. Install our cordless cellular shade blinds in children’s bedrooms and playrooms to increase safety while insulating the room. Prevention is always better than cure.

Day and night cellular shades

Versatile and stylish, our day and night cellular shade blinds allow you to pull the one cord to block out exterior light, and then pull the other cord and allow a soft diffused light in. It sounds like magic and it’s thanks to the innovative use of block-out fabric on one side of the blind and translucent fabric on the other.

“There is an array of lovely colours to choose  from and the stack is minimal when cellular shade blinds are pulled up off the window,” says Karina Palmer, our marketing manager and interior designer.

So now that you’ve heard what could heat up the style stakes of your home, the only question is what kind of cellular shade blind is on your winter ‘must-have’ list?

I love the sound of the day and night blinds. I have a few indoor plants that need light but because I don’t want people peeping into our apartment while I’m out, I keep the curtains drawn, wrapping them around the plants so they still get some light. It’s a bit of a mission! It might be worth my while to invest in these blinds instead.

I must say that I am so pleased you wrote about these blinds. I have always liked the pleated blinds, but never realized the depth of their qualities and applications. Nice content and images. I only wish I knew the applications sooner. Love the whole cordless option. On big windows where there is more than one blind needed, the cord is not really what you want to see.
