This beautiful Fresnaye home perfectly balances open-plan living and clever design. In addition to the indoor-outdoor flow of the living areas, the kitchen and main bedroom also open up to stunning outdoor spaces.

The kitchen opens onto a quaint paved outdoor dining area and secret garden, beautifully revealed when you slide open AMERICAN shutters’ Security Shutters / shutter blinds / window shutters.

The main bedroom also facilitates access to the outdoors, with a lush green garden and pool area just beyond satin white bi-fold Security Shutters, which also provide much-needed privacy and light control when needed. The main bedroom also has a delightful design secret – an ensuite bathroom hidden behind interior shutters that mimic a built-in cupboard.

Homeowner’s comment:

“Having had AMERICAN shutters’ timber shutters installed in our previous home, we chose to work with them in our new home too. This time, because we were looking for a security option as well, we opted for Security Shutters as they are far more attractive than security gates and could be custom fit to suit our home and our needs. AMERICAN shutters service was great and the shutters provide security yet are aesthetically pleasing, it’s a great quality product.”

Sales Consultant’s comment:

“Not only is the home gorgeous, and we had the opportunity to do multiple installations – on windows and doors throughout the house – but the homeowners were return clients, familiar with our product and such a pleasure to work with.”

Did you know:

As its name suggests, the Z-frame is shaped like the letter Z with part of the frame sitting inside the window (behind the shutter) and the other part creating a lip around the window with no visible joints between the frame and the wall of the opening. This gives a neat finish around the shutters, and is a great solution if the brickwork around the window is uneven.
